Our innovative QualityControl platform is the result of years of research at KU Leuven, in collaboration with the Flanders Center of Postharvest Technology (VCBT) and the Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives (VBT).
Optiflux' technology is based on computer vision, AI models of fruit quality change and fruit respiration models allows to automatically inspect fruit quality, predict the storability and shelf-life and determine optimal storage conditions. Based on this information, fruit growers and traders can make informed decisions about the best timing to sell a batch of fruit, determine optimal room opening order, create value by matching the right batch with corresponding buyer expectations.
