The Czech manufacturer of compact tractors Šálek s.r.o. will exhibit for the first time this year at the international trade fair Fruchtwelt Bodensee, where visitors will be able to see, among other things, a completely new next-generation cab on the Vega Comfort 26 HTD model. The innovation was developed with a focus on operator safety, working comfort and specific requirements for use in orchards and vineyards.

The new cab is designed to provide a high level of protection for the operator during work. An optimised airflow system and the structural design of the cab help minimise the penetration of aerosols into the interior, significantly increasing safety during plant protection applications. At the same time, the cab offers improved ergonomics, visibility and overall working comfort. Farmers can look forward to air conditioning, a newly shaped roof, reinforced A-pillars for higher safety, and front and rear windscreen wipers.

The Vega Comfort 26 HTD model, which will be displayed at the exhibition for the first time with the new cab, is equipped with a three-cylinder Hatz engine with 26 HP that meets Stage V emission standards without a particulate filter. The mechanical transmission offers 8 forward and reverse gears, the hydraulic pump has an output of 35 l/min, and the lifting capacity of the rear linkage reaches 620 kg.

“Participation at Fruchtwelt Bodensee is an important opportunity for us not only to present the quality of Czech manufacturing but also to demonstrate our ability to respond to current customer needs. The new cab is the result of development focused on safety and working comfort under demanding conditions in fruit growing and viticulture,” said Pavel Šálek, managing director of the company.

Šálek s.r.o., whose tradition dates back to the 19th century, today manufactures several compact tractor model ranges in Prostějov with a wide range of applications in agriculture, municipal services and construction, exporting its machines to numerous European countries as well as other regions worldwide. Serial production of the new cab is planned for next year.
