About us
The company has the job of providing tree nurseries, primarily in Baden-Württemberg, but also throughout Europe with propagating material in the form of scions that is true to the variety and free of disease.
The Reiserschnittgarten currently covers an area of 12 hectares and has around 430 fruit varieties. The palette of the offered scions ranges from apples to pears, nashi, quinces, cherries, plums, plums, peaches, apricots to ornamental species. All varieties are subject to the EU regulation on the marketing of vegetables, fruit and ornamental plants and are constantly monitored by the official plant protection service of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Not only modern, up-to-date yield and licence varieties, but also many fruit varieties of regional cultural importance are offered for grafting.
Every year, the Reiserschnittgarten (rice pruning garden) offers precious eyes for summer grafting and, in winter, grafting heads. The currently valid assortment and order list is available for download at www.reiserschnittgarten.de .
