About us

In August 2017 the new production plant of Heinrich GLAESER Nachf. GmbH opened its doors in Bernstadt, close to Ulm (Baden-Wuerttemberg). This is where the processing, assembly and finishing steps of GLAESERgrow + CROPprotec take place.

The non-woven crop cover products used by fruit and vegetable producers are designed for protection from adverse weather conditions and for early harvesting.
The usage of our GLAESERgrow non-woven crop cover products ensures higher quality and consistency of the crop, as well as increased yields. The exclusive GLAESERgrow brand achieved high rankings in terms of tear resistance during a field test on a test farm in the Palatinate region (Queckbrunner Hof) in 2011.

The success of GLAESERgrow is based on high product quality and a full range of cover materials such as non-woven covers, film, mulch materials and protection netting.

Today we employ around 800 people in different subsidiaries and departments, all of them operating independently. The proximity between the sales department in Ulm and the production site in Bernstadt facilitates a flexible planning and a fast delivery to our clients.

„We are pleased to have contibuted to the creation of new jobs in our region and put great
emphasis on securing the economic future of locations in Germany“, points out division manager Stephan Kohn.

The construction of the new production and storage area has marked the starting point for further development and growth of the Ulm-based company.
