The agricultural innovation cooperative LandAufbau eG saved the OBSTRAUPE (fruit harvester) after bankruptcy. Supported by farmers, the future of this ingenious tool was secured. Now, a successful future together begins.

The "Fruit Harvester" is a new battery-powered fruit collection device. Designed for harvesting fruit for processing and nuts, it meets the diverse requirements of use in orchards. High efficiency and gentle fruit handling guarantee an economical harvest without back pain. It can be used to collect nuts, soft plums, small perry pears, and large strudel apples. A failed expansion strategy by the manufacturer, Organic Tools, investments in new products, and delays in market launch overstretched its financial resources. A failed financing round ultimately led to insolvency and bankruptcy.
LandAufbau eG acquired the Fruit Harvester from the bankruptcy estate, restarted production, and secured its long-term ownership by farmers. This ensures it remains a tool for farmers – instead of disappearing or being sold off. We are proud that this was achieved!
